BIAT 2021 – OUR PROJECTS

Techinnova, together with its acceleration programme Innogrow, will participate in the VII edition of BIAT (Borsa dell’Innovazione e dell’Alta Tecnologia), an initiative realised within the framework of the Export South 2 Plan, of which ICE-Agenzia is the implementing body. The event, which will be held at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Taormina from 22 to 24 September 2021, aims to enhance the innovative potential expressed by the system of companies and research in the southern regions, in order to transform it into products and services to be placed on foreign markets.

The BIAT event is therefore intended to be a meeting point for the most innovative realities of Southern Italy (start-ups, universities, research centres, incubators, innovative SMEs) and business angels, companies active in Open Innovation, investment funds, scientific and technological partners from the most developed markets. The format of the initiative foresees three days of one-to-one meetings between Italian innovative companies and foreign operators, on the basis of B2B meeting agendas created on the basis of the preferences expressed by the latter.

Therefore, the BIAT offers Techinnova an important opportunity to present to over 100 foreign investors its COMMITMENT project, which has already been awarded second prize during the pitch session of the Innoprom fair – held in Russia in July 2021. The matchmaking activity between commercial and technological supply and demand will be fundamental for the commercialisation and transfer of the innovative product under development.
