Techinnova crosses the borders of the Belpaese to participate in the second edition of the International U14 Tournament in Bellinzona, scheduled between Friday, June 10, and Saturday, June 11.

The event, which will be attended by more than 180 young talents and teams from Italy, German-speaking Switzerland, and French-speaking Switzerland, will be an important opportunity for Techinnova to illustrate to those directly concerned – namely the young sportsmen and women – the results achieved by the Team within the COMMITMENT R&D project, of which the incubator is the leader.

Techinnova’s talk, titled “COMMITMENT: Innovation for Sport and Health“, will take place at a conference scheduled for Friday, June 10, between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. 30, which will be attended by Swiss politicians, sports representatives (including delegates from the likes of Juventus FC, Torino FC, and Hellas Verona FC, as well as the newly crowned Swiss champion Lugano FC), as well as the Associazione Ticinese Terza Età (ATTE), whose members are, as of today, the main target audience of the COMMITMENT project.

For the project partners, the meeting is part of a path of development of the COMMITMENT platform that intends to progressively broaden the segments of the population to which the Smart T-shirts (the project’s main output) are aimed. With this in mind, the task force involved in the COMMITMENT project has studied the possibility of entering into agreements with Swiss football clubs to extend the testing activities of the “smart T-shirts” to the sports sphere as well, to gather feedback from an increasingly broader segment of the population.

Concerning this, therefore, the first phase of illustration of the project accompanied by presentation slides will be followed by a testing session of the Smart T-shirts, useful to collect impressions, observations, and, certainly, also criticisms, which constitute the Team of researchers and engineers the necessary feedback for a constant improvement of the IoT system; judgments and evaluations collected in previous seminars and workshops have already proved to be constructive and indispensable for the continuation of the activities.

In the course of its intervention, Techinnova will be supported by project partner MTM and Swiss collaborator Budokan Sagl, which will thus be able to formalize, within the Swiss landscape, its role as a pioneer of innovation applied to Health and Sport.
