Techinnova is pleased to announce its participation in the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) programme.
As host organisation, Techinnova will promote volunteering initiatives related to the MMM project, winner of the first call for project proposals of the Interreg Italy-Switzerland Cooperation Programme.

Specifically, the role of IVY host organisation will enable Techinnova to host young people between 18 and 30 years old willing to work as volunteers in cross-border, transnational or interregional programmes and related projects. Through their involvement in Interreg, IVY aims to foster a greater sense of European belonging, citizenship and civic engagement among young people.

By involving them in supporting, promoting and communicating not only the results, but also the values of cooperation related to the MMM project, Techinnova aims to offer young volunteers the opportunity to live a unique experience of personal growth; moreover, it is an unmissable opportunity for volunteers to broaden their horizons in a work perspective, acquiring skills to be used in their future experiences.

The “Interreg Volunteer Youth” initiative is part of the European Solidarity Corps. In this sense, the dimension of “solidarity” intercepted by the MMM project is consistent with the IVY action, whose objective is to enhance and raise awareness of the use of new technologies – 3D printing and Virtual Reality above all – in the health sector. In this regard, the communication action supported by young volunteers will be fundamental, with whose collaboration Techinnova will be able to promote careful and targeted information on the adoption of innovative methodologies in hospitals, universities and specialised research centres.

Techinnova is firmly convinced of the value of the project: the particular approaches and methodologies, as well as the peculiar sensitivity of enterprising young people living in different contexts from the national one, will bring new ideas and perspectives; ultimately, they will guarantee a greater dissemination of the MMM project results on a community scale, favouring a better interaction between citizens from different European countries.
