Techinnova is proud to announce its admission to Phase 1 – READINESS of INNOVIT – Italian Innovation and Culture Hub, held online from November 3–7, 2025. The program brings together 40 startups and 25 SMEs for activities including orientation, needs analysis, mentorship, and tutoring.
About INNOVIT
Italian Innovation and Culture of San Francisco, known as INNOVIT is a strategic program created to promote Italian excellence in innovation, technology, and culture on the global stage.
INNOVIT is a project promoted by the Directorate General for the Country System of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Washington and the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco, and managed with the support of ICE – Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco
INNOVIT unfolds in three phases:
-
Phase 1 – READINESS (online): orientation, mentorship, and needs analysis for selected startups and SMEs.
-
Phase 2 – ACCELERATION (in San Francisco): the most promising 20 startups, 15 scaleups, and 15 SMEs advance to an intensive week of networking, training, and pitching in the U.S. innovation hub.
-
Phase 3 – FOLLOW-UP: post-program activities designed to consolidate international partnerships, secure investment opportunities, and promote the global growth of Italian companies.
At the end of the program, participating startups and SMEs gain access to strategic U.S. networks, investors, and business opportunities, strengthening Italy’s presence in global innovation.
Techinnova’s innovative project: HEiPS
Techinnova is participating in the “Hardware Robotics – IoT Smart Manufacturing” track with its R&D project HEiPS (Healthcare Enhancement through Intelligent Personalized Solutions), which includes the development of RoboNurse
RoboNurse is an intelligent robotic system that combines environmental monitoring, health data collection, and patient assistance. The robot can move autonomously, detect obstacles, and monitor environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, pressure, and CO₂ levels. It automatically initiates safety measures when thresholds are exceeded.
In addition to environmental control, RoboNurse supports healthcare providers through vital sign monitoring stations and assistance with medication delivery. Its integration with IoT-based wearable devices, such as sensor-equipped Smart T-shirts enables continuous collection of physiological and behavioral data, which is then processed via a cloud platform for real-time analysis.
By combining robotics with digital health solutions, RoboNurse delivers a comprehensive, patient-centered model of care that enhances safety, efficiency, and well-being in healthcare and assisted living environments.
We are excited to take part in INNOVIT Phase 1 and eager to showcase how RoboNurse can shape the future of healthcare and smart manufacturing!
