We are proud to announce that Techinnova has been admitted to Phase 2 – EXPERIENCE of INNOVIT – Italian Innovation and Culture Hub, joining the SMEs Traction Program scheduled from November 3–7, 2025 at Italian Innovation Center in San Francisco, California.
About INNOVIT
Italian Innovation and Culture of San Francisco, known as INNOVIT is a strategic program created to promote Italian excellence in innovation, technology, and culture on the global stage.
INNOVIT is a project promoted by the Directorate General for the Country System of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Washington and the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco, and managed with the support of ICE – Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco.
In Phase 2, 20 startups, 15 scaleups, and 15 SMEs participate in an intensive acceleration batch in Silicon Valley, including institutional meetings, workshops, networking, and a final Demo Day.
Techinnova’s innovative project: HEiPS
Within the “Hardware Robotics – IoT Smart Manufacturing” track, Techinnova will present RoboNurse, an intelligent robotic system developed as part of the broader R&D project HEiPS (Healthcare Enhancement through Intelligent Personalized Solutions).
RoboNurse is an intelligent robotic system that combines environmental monitoring, health data collection, and patient assistance. The robot can move autonomously, detect obstacles, and monitor environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, pressure, and CO₂ levels. It automatically initiates safety measures when thresholds are exceeded.
In addition to environmental control, RoboNurse supports healthcare providers through vital sign monitoring stations and assistance with medication delivery. Its integration with IoT-based wearable devices, such as sensor-equipped Smart T-shirts enables continuous collection of physiological and behavioral data, which is then processed via a cloud platform for real-time analysis.
By combining robotics with digital health solutions, RoboNurse delivers a comprehensive, patient-centered model of care that enhances safety, efficiency, and well-being in healthcare and assisted living environments.
